João Londres is a filmmaker from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

He worked for several years as an assistant to director Vicente Amorim (showrunner of the Netflix series Senna), as a 2nd assistant director on various projects, and as a screenwriter on shows such as HBO’s Da Ponte Pra Lá.

His new short, Klaustrophobia, a psychological horror, premiered at the 2025 Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival, and is currently nominated for the Grande Otelo, Brazil’s biggest film award.

His previous work has screened at Palm Springs ShortFest, Austin Film Festival, and PÖFF Black Nights Film Festival.
