João Londres is a filmmaker from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

He worked for several years as an assistant to director Vicente Amorim (showrunner of the Netflix series Senna), as a 2nd assistant director on various projects, and as a screenwriter on shows such as HBO’s Da Ponte Pra Lá.

His new short, Klaustrophobia, a psychological horror, will premiere in competition at the 2025 Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival.

His previous work has screened at Palm Springs ShortFest, Austin Film Festival, and PÖFF Black Nights Film Festival.
